The course brought together in-class learning and field experience to offer attendees the chance to learn about the science and hands-on application of metal leaching and acid rock drainage. Specifically, it answered questions around how mine waste characterization relates to field observations and offered an opportunity to see how that insight works in the field.

It was led by our Director of Mining Services, Sarah Barabash, in collaboration with Lindsay Robertson at Elemental Geoscience, and was supported by a range of industry partners.
