Every year, the British Columbia MEND ML/ARD Workshop invites leading practitioners and researchers from BC and around the world to offer insight and expertise on the improvement of ML/ARD technology.
In the past, conferences have addressed a single topic including risk assessment, underwater disposal, and mine workings. In recent years, the format has switched to discussing multiple topics with many of the presentations being case studies.
At this year’s event, taking place at Goldcorp Theatre, Simon Fraser University Downtown Campus, Vancouver, Ecometrix joined other leading practitioners in illustrating challenges and best practices in metal leaching and ARD with a specific focus on field-scale research and operational expertise.
