EcoMetrix attends ICRER 2011 (International Conference on Radioecology & Environmental Radioactivity - Environment & Nuclear Renaissance) in Hamilton, Canada

The Conference builds upon "ECORAD" and the "International Conference on Radioactivity in the Environment" and will be organize every 3rd year, to review and discuss recent achievements in radioecology and related disciplines, and to promote continued development in these subjects. This ICRER 2011 conference was held in Hamilton, Canada between June 19 and June 24, 2011.


The International Conference on Radioecology and Environmental Radioactivity 2011 covered a variety of topics including radionuclide speciation and environmental transfer, radiosensitivity of natural biota, environmental protection, radiation biology, environmental surveillance and risk management, naturally occurring radioactive materials, radiation and society, emergency preparedness, and tritium in the environment.


Bruce, Don, Paul, Sarah and Gene attended the conference. IMPACT and EMMA services were displayed in a public place throughout the conference sessions. A number of speakers presented IMPACT modeling results in the conference.
