Geochemical Testing

EcoMetrix has an in-house laboratory where geoscientists complete specialized testing of natural materials and waste products such as:

• Ore
• Overburden
• Waste Rock
• Tailings

Specializing in acid rock drainage and metal leaching assessments our lab also routinely runs conventional humidity cell tests, column tests that focus on specific environmental conditions such as underwater storage, and numerous other site-specific test protocols.

We also conduct innovative test procedures to assess the release rates of chemicals of concern to the environment including Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) and Special Waste Extraction Procedure (SWEP) protocols among others. Beyond the technical testing service, EcoMetrix specialists provide full interpretive support to ensure that test results are reliable and meaningful to clients.
