Environmental
Effects Monitoring (EEM)
EEM is the process of characterizing the
effect of regulated effluents on the health of aquatic ecosystems.
EcoMetrix understands the importance of quality data and analysis
required for successful EEM programs and backs in up with a rigorous
Standard Operating Procedure.
The EcoMetrix team has been involved
in EEM since its inception in the early 1990s, providing expert
service for the development of technical standards and implementation
guidance for the pulp and paper, metal mining, and nuclear power
generating industries. Our team of professionals is well positioned
to respond to any specific industry need including effluent plume
delineation, fisheries and benthic ecology, water and sediment quality,
sensory evaluations (tainting), mesocosms and caged bivalves.
EcoMetrix specialists provide
a complete gamut of services to fulfill regulatory requirements
for all facets of EEM.
